About Us
We are a restoration movement church, and we are not only called to love people for Jesus, but to love people to Jesus!
As a restoration movement Christian Church, we desire to see a resurgence in the Bible and the use of the Bible in our churches.
We are emphatic about the truth that God loved us so much, that He sent His Son Jesus to die on a cross, so that we could go to be with Him forever.
We believe that His Spirit is with those that have believed and been saved and that as the Comforter, He connects us to where our hearts should lie.
This page has a great deal to do with the walk that starts with belief and takes you to the very throne of the Universe’s Creator.
What You Must Do to Become a Christian
1. You must believe
Not just a “head faith” but a “heart faith” that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Read: Romans 5:1, Hebrews 11:6, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 10:13, John 3:16.
2. You must repent of sin.
Repentance is a “turning from sin” and involves both a sorrow for sin and a true desire to live nearer to Christ in the future. Read: Acts17:30-31, II Peter 3:9.
3. You must confess Christ.
This is a public witnessing to the fact that you do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Read: Matthew 10:32-33, Romans 10:10, Matthew 16:13-17.
4. You must follow Christ in all righteousness.
One of the acts that signified the beginning of Jesus’ ministry was his baptism in the Jordan River. To follow Him as a disciple we should heed His words. Matthew 3:15
The Christian life involves many things.
–Prayer: Matthew 26:41, Luke 18:1.
–Bible Study: John 5:39, 20:30-31, Acts- 17:11, Romans 15:4, 2 Timothy 2:15.
–Worship: Matthew 18:20, 26:26-29, Acts 20:6,7, 1 Corinthians 16:2, Hebrews 10:25-27.
–Faithfulness: Matthew 28:10-20, 1 Corinthians 15:58, Revelation 2:10.
There are many that wonder about the salvation found in Jesus Christ. Below we offer a simple plan for anyone to look through and determine what they would do with the love of Jesus.
Roman Road to Salvation
I consider myself a ‘good person’… won’t that be enough?
Romans 3:23 NKJV – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:10 NKJV – As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;
Romans 5:12 NKJV – Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned–
Is sin really THAT big of a deal? If it is… what HOPE is there?
Romans 6:23 NKJV – For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
After what I’ve done to grieve God… HOW could He willingly die in my place?
Romans 5:8 NKJV – But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
HOW can I be saved?
Romans 10:9-10 NKJV – that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation
You can never be saved by trying to be a good person, nor can you be saved through any amount of ‘good works’.
Did God HEAR me? Did He accept me?
Romans 10:13 NKJV – For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
What do I do now?
Romans 10:17 NKJV – So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Your journey as a child of the King of Kings has just begun! You must begin by spending time daily in prayer and in God’s Word, the Bible. You must also find fellowship with other believers in a Church that teaches and preaches the Bible. You should also now confess Jesus, your savior before men. Share about your new faith in Christ with your family, coworkers and others whom God has placed on your daily path.
